Chilled and cardamom flavoured badam milk is just a delight
to taste buds. Serve it as a refreshing welcome drink and earn
compliments.

Ingredients:
- 15 almonds (soaked in warm water for 2 hours)
- 1 litre of milk (full cream)

1 tsp pistachio (powdered)

1/4 tsp cardamom powder

Sugar according to taste
1 pinch of saffron (optional)
Preparation Instructions:
- Soak saffron (if using) in 2 tbsp cold milk.
- Remove the skin of almonds by rubbing them between your fingers.
- Grind the almonds with 1/4 cup milk and make a smooth paste.
- Take a saucepan and cook the almond paste over low heat for 8 minutes. when the bubbles begin to appear, add the remaining milk and bring it to boil. Let it simmer on low flame again for 5 minutes.
- Now, add sugar according to your taste, pistachio powder, cardamom powder and saffron soaked in milk.
- If you think the consistency of badam milk is thick, add more milk. Bring it to another boil and turn off the stove.
- Let it cool in room temperature and then keep it in refrigerator. Enjoy chilled badam milk.
